Join us for an intimate evening featuring solo piano by Zahili Gonzalez Zamora, as she delves into the rich heritage of the Cuban piano tradition and its evolution to the present day. The program spans from the foundational pieces of Manuel Saumell and Gisela Hernández to the contemporary voice of Ernán López-Nussa, showcasing a vibrant musical legacy while incorporating Zahili’s own original compositions, reimagined and explored in new ways.
Through rhythm, improvisation, and storytelling at the piano, this performance takes listeners on a journey through generations of Cuban musical expression.
