WELCOME

Welcome to our Music Performance Anxiety Workshop
Tired of feeling overwhelmed before stepping on stage? Wondering if the anxiety will ever fade, or if it’s just part of being a musician? Picture yourself walking into your next performance with a sense of ease—not because the nerves are gone, but because you know how to work with them.

This workshop is an invitation to shift your relationship with performance anxiety through guidance, reflection, and a community that gets it.

This is a six-day workshop, consisting of five consecutive days of asynchronous sessions followed by a live session on the sixth day. During the first five days, you will take charge of your learning process and will move through each day’s content at your own pace.

We are thrilled to have you here and are committed to helping you overcome the challenges associated with performance anxiety. Our goal is to provide you with practical strategies and resources that will boost your confidence and allow you to shine on stage.

What will you get from this workshop?
THIS SIX-DAY JOURNEY ISN'T JUST ABOUT INFORMATION, BUT ALSO
transformation
A better understanding of your performance anxiety
You’ll explore where your nerves might really be coming from—maybe past experiences, fear of mistakes, or pressure to “get it right.” Understanding why it happens is the first step toward changing how it affects you.
Tools you can actually use when you're nervous
From simple breathing techniques to grounding exercises and body awareness, you’ll learn ways to calm your mind and body—on stage, in the practice room, or wherever nerves show up.
Smarter ways to practice and feel more prepared
We’ll show you how to practice in a way that really prepares you—not just musically, but emotionally too. You’ll discover how to break things down, build confidence, and even use mock performances to boost your readiness.
A gentler inner voice through self-compassion
If you tend to be hard on yourself, you're not alone. This course will help you shift from self-criticism to self-kindness so you can keep growing without tearing yourself down.
Brain-based strategies to support real progress
You’ll learn how your brain handles stress and learning—and how to work with it, not against it. From memory tricks to managing frustration, these tools will help you practice and perform with more ease.
A reminder of why you love music in the first place
Anxiety can steal the joy from performing. We want to help you reconnect with the part of you that loves music—so you can show up more fully, have more fun, and feel proud of your growth.

Workshop Overview
To maximize your learning and enhance what you will take away from this workshop, we recommend that you set aside time each day to be fully present to this process. The content may be heavy or difficult to explore at times, which is why we wrap up with a Live Zoom Session on the 6th day, to give you the opportunity to connect with us and others who have also taken the course, about your discoveries and concerns.

Throughout this course, you will have access to a variety of valuable materials. Each topic is accompanied by a detailed description and video where we delve into the subject matter, providing insights and techniques to manage performance anxiety effectively. In addition, we have prepared a comprehensive workbook with self-assessment questions. These questions will guide you in reflecting on your own experiences and help you gain a deeper understanding of your unique process with performance anxiety.
